Want to learn guitar in North Salem? How this works:
Many students love to play guitar. It’s mobile, easy to carry, and so much fun! Choose from acoustic (doesn’t need to be plugged in), electric, or bass guitar. Our guitar teachers are proficient in all of them. Students can explore many different kinds of music including popular, rock, jazz, country, the blues and more. We teach Classical guitar as well, but you aren’t required to focus on it unless you would like to. Either way, our teachers will instruct you on proper technique.
We find that learning skills like reading music, understanding chords and playing by ear are all valuable for the musician, but we will tailor each lesson to how you learn.
You can bring your phone to show us what you enjoy listening to, or use it to record parts of the lesson to help you practice at home.

Our guitar instructors understand that every student is an individual, with personal musical needs and goals. We make it a priority to tailor how we teach to each student we work with. When you enroll for guitar lessons at the Music Learning Center your teacher will ask about your favorite type of music. Then, together you will set goals to help accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child. We love beginners, so even if you don’t know where to start, we can help.
